Recession over, Hardship not
Recent headlines indicated that the recession ended in june 2009. It seems in many ways that this technical ending has not seen a turnaround in the unemployment figures. Let’s hope that it will soon. In the meanwhile Remington continues to remain very active. Our ability to maintain our capital sources in good and bad times is the key to this.
Small business lending legislation
We were very pleased to see the passage of legislation to increase lending to small business. We think that this should result in more jobs. Small business has always been a major focus of our business. Over the years we have helped many small businesses to get started, to expand, to acquire other businesses and in many other ways. If you know of a small business that needs capital for any purpose we would love to help them also.
12 new account executive join the Remington Capital team
We are very pleased to announce that 12 new account executives have graduated from our training program and they will begin their duties immediately. The tremendous demand for our services has created the need for additional account executives. With financing from traditionally sources continuing to be difficult to obtain we find more and more companies in need of our services.
Affiliated Partners Program
We are very pleased with the initial response to our affiliated partners program. It seems that the incentive of receiving significant income on every deal has stimulated a great response from our affiliate partners. If you would be interested in learning how to increase your cash flow please let me know.
Remington Capital’s Advisory Services
I have observed that some clients get turned down for financing despite having very sound business plans. The reason that the requests are turned down often is as a result of a poorly prepared request. At Remington Capital we pride ourselves on creating financing requests that are presented in their most favorable light. Our industry experience has trained us to focus on the issues that our capital sources are most interested in.
Penny Wise and Pound Foolish
Penny wise and pound foolish. This old expression came to my mind recently. Two different companies had approached remington to help them with financing. Both of them decided that we were too expensive and did not hire us. Both of these companies have now filed for bankruptcy. I believe that both of these companies could have avoided filing had they hired us. For a very small fee we could have put them on the right track.
