With over 35 years experience in the industry, Andy is a leading expert in alternative financing for real estate developers and owners. Under his leadership, Remington has helped secure billions of dollars in innovative debt, mezzanine, and equity capital transactions involving hundreds of small and mid-size real estate companies unable to obtain traditional bank financing.
A lawyer by training, Andy has earned degrees in history, political science, and education from Dickinson College and Temple University.
Andy attributes the success of Remington to four key factors:
1) Fair and competitive fees,
2) A comprehensive due diligence system that identifies obstacles before they become barriers to the transaction,
3) Access to a well-established international network of private and institutional lenders, and
4) A group of real estate financing professionals at Remington committed to serving the individual interests of clients
“Our goal is to help re-structure transactions for commercial real estate companies that have been denied bank financing. Even when credit is tight, funds are available when you know where to look.”
Born into a respected banking family, Andy Bogdanoff quite naturally gravitated toward a career in finance. Prior to founding Remington, he joined Kirk Mortgage Company of Philadelphia. Entrepreneurial by instinct, Andy went on to establish several financial services companies, including Trent Financial, a private lender specializing in direct loans to small businesses, and Remington Corporation, an equipment leasing company. He later merged those entities into Cambridge Financial Corporation, a more broadly diversified firm, providing a range of financial services including mortgage banking, equipment leasing and insurance.
Over the years, Andy formulated a business philosophy that has served him and his clients well. “Be honest. Be fair. Be diligent. And above all else, create value for our customers.” This philosophy is what guides the day-to-day operations of Remington and the relationships it maintains with customers and lenders alike. It is also what encouraged him to set the highest standards of integrity in the industry and to establish world-class operating policies that protect clients from even the hint of fraud.
Andy, who lived most of his life in Philadelphia, now resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
